PaymentVision, a leader in secure and compliant payment solutions, is undergoing a pivotal transformation—and we’re hiring a high-performing Strategic Account Executive (AE) to help lead the charge. This is more than a typical sales role. We’re looking for a builder—someone who can think strategically, move with urgency, and thrive in ambiguity.
You’ll take full ownership of the net-new sales motion, expand our partner ecosystem, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver solutions tailored to regulated industries. Key Responsibilities- Own the full sales cycle for new business opportunities from outbound to close
- Cultivate and expand channel/referral partnerships to drive lead flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Compliance, Ops, Product, Legal) to ensure deal accuracy and mitigate risk
- Maintain flawless pipeline hygiene and forecasting in Salesforce, adhering to our opportunity flow and tagging discipline
- Report weekly progress, insights, and blockers directly to the VP of Sales
- Serve as a strategic voice in shaping market messaging, objection handling, and product-positioning content
- Represent PaymentVision at industry events and report on ROI, lead quality, and follow-up status
- Participate in weekly sales reviews, 1:1 coaching, and QBRs to track activity, conversion, and margin impact
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, or regulated markets
- Track record of exceeding quotas in both direct sales and channel/partner development
- Strong understanding of compliance-heavy sales cycles and financial product positioning
- Proficiency in Salesforce and outbound sales automation tools (ZoomInfo, Zoom, Slack)
- Sharp communicator with excellent judgment, self-direction, and executive presence
- Event lead follow-up and ROI tracking experience strongly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a lean, fast-moving environment where ambiguity is part of the build
