Position Overview:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, closing deals, and increasing revenue. This individual will play a key role in expanding Autoscribe’s market reach by targeting new customers and introducing our payment solutions to high-potential prospects. Success in this role requires a proactive, hunter mentality, a deep understanding of the sales cycle, and a passion for building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Actively seek new business through research, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
- Build a Pipeline: Develop and manage a pipeline of high-quality prospects to achieve consistent sales results.
- Hunt for New Business: Approach new markets with a strategic mindset to secure new clients and revenue streams.
- Close Sales: Own the sales cycle from lead to contract, including conducting product demonstrations and negotiations.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to team success.
- Understand Client Needs: Assess and understand the unique business challenges of prospective clients to effectively position Autoscribe’s offerings.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align strategies and optimize the customer experience.
- Monitor Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
- Report on Sales Performance: Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and regularly report on key performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Hunter Mentality: Demonstrated ability to aggressively pursue new business and close high-value deals.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to articulate value propositions, negotiate confidently, and establish rapport quickly.
- Goal-Oriented: Highly driven, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the payment processing industry or similar B2B sales environments is preferred.
- CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is required.
- Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently and managing time effectively.
- Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Sales Experience: Proven track record in business development, sales, or partnerships with a focus on generating new business and closing deals.
- 3+ years in a Hunter Role: Demonstrated success in identifying and pursuing new market opportunities.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with occasional extended hours and weekend work as required.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires up to 25% travel, including overnight stays, to meet with clients and attend industry events.
